We are Edward and Heena Haley, and we started Haley Coffee House out of our passion for quality coffee. Coffee has been such a treasured part of our daily life, yet we didn’t realize that to get that cup of rich, flavorful coffee it takes an entire community of individuals that span across cultures and continents. It’s a direct result of many people along the way who grow, harvest, roast, and package it.
We have been fortunate enough to travel to several coffee farms and plantations with different types of climates and beans. This helped us gain a deeper respect and perspective on the bean-to-cup process. After hearing growers' stories, seeing their processes, and feeling their passion, we felt our own love for coffee grow. We felt our calling and only wanted to positively impact this industry. We began by touring and taking roasting classes during our most recent trip to Hawaii in March of 2020. When we returned home, we were excited to start practicing the craft of roasting coffee.
It was at this time that the world was forever changing, due to the Covid pandemic, all while our own personal world was also changing, as we were starting our own family. Throughout the following 12+ months, we welcomed our baby girl Olivia into the world, relocated to Connecticut, and began our journey to launch Haley Coffee House. We are not certain where this coffee venture will take us; all we know for sure is that we want to share our enthusiasm, and produce and provide high quality coffee.
